Sleep Medicine Physician

About the Position

Providers are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. The scope of medical decision-making focuses on common conditions that would present within an episodic, acute, or primary care medical practice. • Review STOP-Bang result to validate at-Home Sleep Study order
  
• Review at-Home Sleep Study result to diagnose clinical conditions
  
• Create a prescription and letter of medical necessity for CPAP as needed
  
• Review AI-based mask fitting result to recommend appropriate mask if CPAP is recommended
  
• Create a referral to Dental Sleep Treatment as needed
  
• Interface with patient in telemedicine/phone for initial and follow-up sleep study review
  
• Abide by established clinical protocols
  

Requirements

• Three years of relevant clinical experience in primary care and/or sleep medicine is required
  
• Active physician licenses in AK, CT, DC, HI, ID, IA, KY, LA, MA, MI, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, OK, OR, RI, SD, VT, WV, WY
  
• Active board certification in Sleep Medicine or Pulmonology
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Professional demeanor
  
• Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
