About the Role:
3E is looking for a curious, collaborative, and strategically minded Associate Editor to join our growing editorial team in Europe and expand our global content and compliance coverage. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of critical Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) reporting, covering regulatory developments, voluntary frameworks, and sustainability practices shaping supply chains across Europe.
As Associate Editor, you’ll research and edit news on compliance trends and chemical safety across Europe, providing timely insights for and from manufacturers, retailers, and technology companies. This role involves reporting, editing, and people management. You will edit content created by other reporters and our internal editorial team.

What You'll DoResearch, report, and write timely, accurate, and insightful news stories on key regulatory developments, laws, and industry shifts.Explore emerging trends in sustainability, particularly those impacting supply chain practices, and translate complex regulations into clear, actionable analysis.Attend press briefings, conferences, and key industry events (in-person and virtually in the EMEA region) to stay ahead of what matters most to our clients.Deliver timely, accurate updates and craft engaging, in-depth feature stories that offer perspective and strategic insight to our global audience.Edit content from internal writers and freelancers, ensuring tone of voice consistency, clarity, and accuracyCollaborate closely with 3E’s editorial teams to shape impactful content across platforms, ensuring the content resonates with the target audiencePartner with product and commercial teams to align news content with customer needs and help drive engagement across our broader suite of compliance solutions.Contribute to special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.What Makes You A Great FitBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related fieldAt least five (5) years of experience writing accurate, impartial news and feature storiesAt least three (3) years of editing experience with a strong eye for detail and qualityDemonstrated ability to track, anticipate, and report on evolving regulatory and policy trends.Strong sourcing skills - an ability to proactively build networks and cultivate trusted relationships with experts and stakeholdersDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, with an ability to meet tight editorial deadlines with consistent qualityComfortable speaking, moderating, or presenting at internal and external forums, including industry events.An analytical mindset and a flair for creating data-driven, insight-rich stories that inform business decisions.Ability to work in an evolving, global environment and make a direct impact on the content.Familiarity with chemical safety, health & safety regulations, and compliance topics is a plusDisclosures:
