Job description

Role Summary:
The Director of Sales, North America, will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy in North America region. This individual will play a key role in launching and scaling our product lines, leading a high-performing sales team in this region, and driving business transformation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the life science tools industry, particularly in capital equipment sales, and possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial capabilities. Travel up to 50% required.

Key Responsibilities:
        Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
        Lead, retain, build, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
        Oversee sales efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals and optimizing go-to-market strategies.
        Spearhead the launch and growth of new products, product lines, or business units, ensuring successful market adoption.
        Drive external communications, representing ThinkCyte at industry conferences and thought leadership forums.
        Help implement marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and competitive positioning.
        Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales initiatives with marketing, R&D, product development, and operational goals.
        Identify and execute business transformation opportunities to drive efficiency, scalability, and market leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:
Industry Experience:
        Extensive experience in the life science tools industry.
        Strong familiarity with flow cytometry and related technologies.
        Proven experience selling capital equipment in the life sciences sector.
        Track record of creating and executing strategic commercial visions, including launching and scaling products or business units.
        Strong background in external communications, including investor relations and public speaking.
        Experience in business transformation and optimizing commercial operations.
        Background in working within entrepreneurial companies or divisions, with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
