About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, AWS EMEA Partnership to own and drive our relationship with AWS across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for implementing and executing the AWS partnership strategy that accelerates Confluent's growth in EMEA. The ideal candidate will bring experience in cloud partnerships, enterprise sales, and a proven track record of driving business outcomes through strategic alliances.
As the Senior Manager of AWS EMEA Partnership, you will work cross-functionally with Confluent's field teams, AWS field teams, and sales leadership to implement our AWS partnership strategy, drive co-sell operations, and ensure alignment between organizations across the region. You will build and maintain relationships with AWS managers and directors while driving measurable business growth through the partnership and increasing adoption of Confluent on AWS. This role combines alliance management with sales and solutioning expertise to identify new opportunities and accelerate sales cycles across EMEA.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute the AWS partnership strategy for EMEA, working with leadership to align with Confluent's regional objectives
  • Drive revenue growth through the AWS partnership, including Marketplace transactions and joint customer wins
  • Collaborate with Confluent's field organization, AWS field teams, and sales leadership as the first AWS EMEA hire
  • Work closely with field marketing to develop and execute joint AWS-Confluent marketing initiatives and events
  • Implement AWS-specific go-to-market strategies to increase consumption of Confluent on AWS across EMEA
  • Identify new solution opportunities focused on Flink and Connect (DSP) adoption with AWS
  • Enable Account Executives to effectively position and sell Confluent on AWS
  • Track partnership KPIs and provide regular updates to leadership on performance metrics
  • Effectively navigate AWS investments, credits, and incentive programs to accelerate joint customer adoption

What You Will Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales or partnerships, with AWS experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of managing partnerships that deliver revenue impact in a SaaS/cloud environment
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, partnership programs, and go-to-market mechanisms
  • Experience working on cross-functional initiatives and aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Technical expertise to understand Confluent's offerings on AWS and Apache Kafka ecosystem
  • Understanding of the EMEA market landscape and regional business practices
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills without direct authority
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
