Job description

Our client is a leading Australian brand specialising in designing and manufacturing innovative and engaging infant developmental toys.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team and support their finance department in handling supplier invoices, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconciled supplier statements and resolved discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring timely supplier payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks.
  • Maintain financial records and update the accounting system (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, or similar).
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to handle payment queries.
  • Support general finance-related administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment workflows
  • Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Xero, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
