Position Role Type:

You will be responsible for the Home Office allocations/adjustments pertaining to our quarterly reporting of actual costs, annual incurred cost submission and forward pricing allocations as needed each year to the US Government (USG) as well as Collins SBU’s.

What You Will Do:

  • Support our USG customer with standard reporting through the year

  • Responsibility to support the redesign as well as lead the Collins Home Office Accounting Change process

  • Lead the overhaul of the Collins allocation factor data process, by learning the OneStream tool, and improving the efficiency of the process for all Collins data

  • Support of all Audits; Internal, and various USG, as needed

  • Serve as primary POC of selected central budgets in support of all submissions

  • Interpretation/application of USG regulations (Cost Accounting Standards, FAR Cost Principles) in support of inquiries by our business units and USG customer

  • Travel 5%-10%; few times a year based on business needs

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience 

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

  • Government Accounting Experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Familiarity with relevant Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) cost principles

  • Microsoft Access, SAP,  Hyperion/OneStream experience

  • Analytical skills with the ability to effectively summarize analyses and communicate at various levels

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
