We are seeking a highly motivated Receivables Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will support the billing, invoicing, and collections processes to ensure the accurate and timely management of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with receivables management, and the ability to collaborate across teams to resolve billing issues, manage overdue accounts, and assist in broader department projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing & Receivables Management Support:

    • Assist in the billing, invoicing, and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate management of accounts receivable.

    • Review aged accounts receivable reports, identify past-due accounts, and work to resolve outstanding balances.

    • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes in a timely and efficient manner.

    • Collaborate closely with the Senior Receivables Analyst and Receivables Manager on receivables projects and initiatives, contributing to process improvements and departmental objectives.

  • General Support:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

    • Work cross-functionally with various teams to meet department goals and company-wide targets, ensuring seamless communication and support for special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, with exposure to accounts receivable or billing functions.

    • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Salesforce & Sage Intacct).

  • Skills:

    • Foundational understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and receivables management processes.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel (pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, etc.) and G-Suite applications (Google Sheets, Google Docs) for reporting and analysis.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing issues efficiently.

    • Effective communication skills to work with both internal teams and clients on collections and disputes.
