Birch Creek Development, a utility-scale solar and storage developer, is looking to expand its Financial Planning and Analysis team and has an exciting opportunity for a talented FP&A Analyst to complement its growing pipeline of projects. Founded in 2019, Birch Creek has developed and placed in-service 28 projects representing 315MW.

This is a fully remote position, but Birch Creek does have main offices in St. Louis (HQ) and Los Angeles that candidates are welcome to work out of if they live in those areas.
Birch Creek seeks an FP&A Analyst to support its FP&A and corporate finance functions. In this role, the FP&A Analyst will be asked to:
- Support and develop Birch’s FP&A function, including but not limited to:
- Corporate budgeting and forecasting process, including corporate modeling
- Board and ad hoc financial reporting, including management of recurring financial reporting and KPIs
- Support and manage financial and project-level data
- Support capital management and planning efforts primarily related to corporate debt and related financing facilities
- Partner with Birch’s accounting, project finance, and other teams to manage treasury activities
- Support and develop Birch’s FP&A function, including but not limited to:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or similar experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills with financial modeling experience
- Strong interest in solar and renewable energy industry
- Strong work ethic and ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-oriented and organized with superior analytical abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work for all U.S.-based employers, not only their current employer.
The pay rate for the successful candidate is dependent on skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to a competitive base salary, this opportunity is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
