Job description

Momnt is looking for an Operational Data Analyst to assist in the discovery and analysis of key areas of the company, with the ultimate goal of making recommendations for operational improvements, creating scalable solutions, and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization as a whole. The position reports directly to the Chief Business Officer, although you will work closely with multiple members of the leadership team to solve business problems and provide strategic insights. This position requires effective communication and analytical skills, as well as a drive for continuous learning and development at both the technical and business levels.

Location: This role can be performed remotely however, you must reside on the East Coast to ensure alignment with team collaboration and meeting schedules. 

Must be authorized to work in the U.S./Sponsorships are not available. Corp to Corp is not available.


As an Operational Data Analyst, you will:

  • Gather and collect information from multiple data sources for project creation
  • Be responsible for performing detailed analysis on key areas of the business
  • Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations in a clear, succinct manner
  • Forecast business needs based on analysis and insights
  • Work with third-party vendors and external partners to gather requirements and assess capabilities
  • Synthesize findings from analyses and make oral/written recommendations to upper management
  • Execute tasks related to core operations projects and/or process improvements
  • Execute day to day processes related to their areas of responsibility
  • Communicate issues and roadblocks related to their areas of responsibility
  • Perform other duties as assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

You’d be a good fit if:

  • 3+ years of experience in operational analytics or similar role
  • Proficient in spreadsheet software (MS Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation software (MS Powerpoint, Google Slides)
  • Experienced in drawing conclusions from analyzing large sets of data
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Solution oriented and professional attitude and approach to work
  • Experience running queries against data (preferably SQL)
  • Experience utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems
