Job description

Surglogs is an award-winning software solution digitizing and streamlining regulatory compliance for ambulatory surgery centers and healthcare facilities across the US. 🧑‍⚕️
The position is remote, preferably on the east coast of the US, with a focus on managing product strategy and collaborating with a Central Europe-based engineering team.
The goal is for the individual to have at least 3-4 hours to interact with Central Europe and then another 3-4 hours to interact with customers who are located across the entire US market.

This role requires a hands-on approach to developing product strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving PMF and new product launches in the healthcare sector.
As a small company, we’re looking for someone who takes full ownership of the product—treating it as if they were building and designing their own. 💙
You won’t have the luxury of delegating many tasks, so being proactive and execution-focused is key. Candidates should have experience in B2B SaaS, working with both mobile and web applications, conducting data-driven product analysis, and ideally, exposure to the healthcare tech space.
Experience working with remote development teams from Central Europe or Latin America is highly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for the engineering team in Central Europe, as well as design, marketing, and customer support, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across time zones.
  • Deeply understanding the product to confidently answer questions from internal teams and stakeholders, providing clear guidance and insights.
  • Conducting market research and customer feedback sessions to understand user needs and pain points, translating these into specific product requirements.
  • Managing the product development lifecycle from planning to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
  • Utilizing data and product analytics to measure product performance, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven decisions related to the compliance tools.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress and strategy to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful product launches, demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • A strong understanding of software agile development processes, including experience with mobile and web applications.
  • Experience working with remote engineering teams, especially from Central & Eastern Europe & LATAM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders & customers, especially in managing remote teams across time zones.
  • Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive product decisions, ensuring a data-driven approach to product management.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry and regulatory compliance requirements is welcome but not necessary.
  • Experience in the B2B SaaS world, ideally in a startup or small company environment where adaptability, ownership, and hands-on execution are essential. A strong data-driven mindset is crucial, and experience with analytics tools like Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, or similar is highly valued.
