Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to support the Maintenance & Repair (M&R) category within the Technical Professional Services team in Supplier Management (EP&S). This assignment is for a 12-month engagement to cover a maternity leave, with the potential to be based in Europe or the US (Winsted or Vernon Hills office).

The consultant will be responsible for leading and managing the M&R Category, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs, securing supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement and value creation.

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Manager who works independently, in close collaboration with

business stakeholders, and in cooperation with the Supplier Management community across the entire

organization. The supplier relationship management part of the job includes proactive engagement to facilitate

value-adding development, supplier-enabled innovation, continuous improvements, and strong business

understanding.

✔️ What you will do:

Category Leadership & Strategy Execution:

  • Develop and deploy expertise in the M&R category, maximizing supplier market potential and business value.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, aligning procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Ensure category governance, including cost management, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a trusted business partner to the Services organization, securing early involvement in key procurement decisions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies support operational and financial targets.

Supplier Management & Contracting:

  • Lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contracting activities in alignment with category strategy.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to foster innovation, continuous improvement, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and contractual obligations.

✔️ We believe you have

  • 5 years of experience in Procurement or experience in business development.
  • Experience and knowledge in the Services Maintenance & Repair category will be considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and change management skills.
  • Ability to break silos and work effectively as a team player, driving change through informal leadership.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-pace environment, and a strong drive to improve team efficiency and productivity.
