BizForce is looking for skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionists to join our growing team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a vital role in converting voice-recorded reports as dictated by healthcare providers into text documents. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, precise attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. If you are passionate about healthcare and have a knack for transcription, we would love to have you onboard!

Responsibilities

Listen to audio recordings from healthcare providers and transcribe them accurately into written format
Ensure that all transcriptions meet quality standards and are free of errors
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
Review and revise drafts of transcriptions to ensure accuracy and consistency
Organize and manage transcripts according to company protocols
Communicate with medical professionals to confirm obscure terminologies or unclear dictations

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week

Requirements

Previous experience as a Medical Transcriptionist (minimum 2 years preferred)
Proficient in medical terminology and transcription best practices
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks
Good listening and comprehension skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with transcription software and computer systems
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices
Amenable to work in a graveyard shift
Live Scribing experience is a PLUS
