Job description

Bou is a new-school Nordic brand company that builds brands in various domains; including design, marketing, development and communications. We believe that ideal teams are built with a diverse range of experiences and to support this, we have created a freelancer platform that enables us to collaborate closely with freelance creatives, actively connecting proficient freelancers with engaging clients.

We are looking to book a US-based freelancer to support Bou on concept development and media planning for an upcoming brand campaign. The concept has already been created and signed off by client. The client is B2B but the concept is creative and consumer-oriented. Your work would be to join our project team of marketers and creatives as an advisor, providing input on US cultural nuances. Project would start now in April, and continue until end of summer, and your total hours would be around 5h per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Read briefing materials and provide feedback / input
  • Review campaign concepts, copy and visuals and provide feedback / input
  • Join workshops with Bou and client, and play an active role in further sharpening the chosen concept for the US market.
  • Give US-specific advice on interesting OOH and digital activations for the campaign.

Requirements

  • US-based & culturally fluent with deep understanding of US cultural trends, audience behaviors, and regional nuances.
  • Brand & media strategy experience with 5+ years in brand strategy, media planning, or cultural consultancy.
  • Creative & strategic thinking with ability to evaluate and refine creative concepts with a market-relevant lens.
  • Media planning knowledge with familiarity with OOH and digital activations in the US.
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills in order to provide clear, actionable feedback to the team.
