Clymac’s Trainee Maintenance Engineers
You will be trained to service a wide variety of fire and security systems, all located within a compact geographical area. You will be provided with a company van and all the tools that you need to carry out your work.
This is an entry-level role in the fire and security industry, but continuous development opportunities will be available for candidates who decide they want to become a fully qualified fire & security engineer.
These are Trainee roles within the business; therefore, we are not looking for candidates who are already experienced in these disciplines. We can provide the training you need to start your career in the Fire & Security Industry.
You will commence your journey with a 6-week training program that will cover the fundamentals of being able to deliver PPM on a wide range of fire systems. The following 18 months will see you develop a greater understanding of more specific areas, which will cover;
Systems we Maintain
Fire: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Protec
Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco
CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems
Access Control: Paxton, PAC. Salto
Emergency Lighting
As you come to the end of your training period, you’ll complete a practical and theory-based exam, successful completion will result in an EAL level 3 qualification.
