We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team in the United States, ideally located in CDT or EDT.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of the global tax provision and disclosures under US GAAP for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
  • Responsible for US international tax calculations, including GILTI inclusion, subpart F, foreign tax credits and FDII.
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  • Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state and local income tax returns and other business related filings.
  • Ensure timely filing of global income tax returns.
  • Manage income tax audits, FIN 48, and uncertain tax positions.
  • Responsible for quarterly/yearly tax projections and estimates.
  • Responsible for intercompany and transfer pricing calculations and documentation.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
  • Provide support to VP of Tax regarding special projects and tax planning.
  • Partner with the VP of Tax on the preparation of Audit Committee materials in coordination with the CFO, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work closely and effectively with internal and external auditors, including facilitating and coordinating requests for our integrated financial statement audit.

Requirements

  • BS in accounting, Masters in Tax preferred.
  • 6+ years experience in public accounting or private industry (ideally both).
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with global tax provisions.
  • Experience working in a public company, preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Internal Controls knowledge.
  • Affinity for process documentation.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Proactive professional with excellent problem-solving capabilities and detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and external auditors.
  • Self-motivated, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Detail oriented and hands on.
  • Experience using Workday (a plus)
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office.
