Job description

The Clinical Program Manager will oversee the daily operations of the behavioral health program, ensuring excellence in clinical service delivery, provider management, and operational efficiency. This role is 80% administrative/management and 20% direct patient care, requiring a balance of leadership, strategic planning, and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Administration (80%)

  • Assist in leading the behavioral health department, supporting strategic initiatives and program development.
  • Provide oversight and supervision of clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs for providers on clinical best practices, telehealth procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Oversee billing and coding compliance, ensuring proper documentation and reimbursement processes.
  • Monitor and enhance quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand outreach efforts and partnerships.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and workflows to enhance telehealth services.

Clinical Care (20%)

  • Provide direct telehealth services to patients as needed.
  • Maintain clinical licensure and stay updated on best practices in virtual behavioral health care.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Psy.D. or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Independent licensure (e.g., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience in outpatient behavioral health, including knowledge of billing and coding practices.
  • Strong understanding of telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to implement quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a large telehealth organization.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to virtual behavioral health services.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 103,700 - 172,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
