We’re seeking a skilled, forward-thinking Solutions Manager to take the lead in deploying, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of Workday Time Tracking across the enterprise. In this role, you’ll design and implement solutions that enhance the user experience, streamline critical HR processes, and ensure seamless time tracking inputs drive accurate payroll outputs. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use your technical expertise to act as Labcorp’s authority on Workday Time Tracking with deep knowledge and focus on configuring payroll time systems rather than supporting payroll processing.
- Serve as the key liaison between the Workday Configuration Team (Design & Delivery) where this role sits and the People Services and Payroll Teams by providing technical support and issue remediation for Workday Time Tracking configuration.
- Expand Workday Time Tracking coverage by consulting with stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze localized business requirements and policies, review regulatory landscape to ensure compliance, and then recommend scalable and simple solution(s) based on evaluation of best courses of action
- Design, configure, and test changes working through appropriate planning and change processes
- Troubleshoot system issues and providing defect resolution to Time Tracking cases raised via ServiceNow
- Support 2x yearly feature releases and other Workday initiatives by prioritizing, planning, identifying & executing test scripts within Time Tracking.
- End-to-end project management (project charters, project plans, ensure adherence to project schedule and other specifications, etc.) for Workday time-related enhancements and initiatives
- Document Labcorp’s Time Tracking solution landscape and assist in the development of change management, communication, and training materials, as needed.
- Ensure that the system remains compliant with relevant data protection and security regulations, such as GDPR or CPRA, follow all SOX controls, and implement best practices in data management and protection
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business Administration, HR or related field or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of configuration experience in Time Tracking solutions
- Architect-level expertise in configuration (Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Entry Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Business Processes, Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, EIBs, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Workday Absence
- Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation within Workday
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday PRO certification preferred
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Workday Payroll, US Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence products and the interdependencies with Benefits, Time Tracking and Absence as well as other cross-functional capabilities
- Excellent communication skills to bring forward a vision or opinion. Must be comfortable leading solution discussions with stakeholders at every level and with partners around the globe.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style.
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify and tackle problems proactively, research and present multiple solutions to problems. High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of downstream integrations to gauge impact of changes, triage and remedy incidents and/or scope level of effort for new initiatives.
- Ability to translate complex policies into user-friendly solutions.
- Track record of successful process optimization.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with ability to design and develop solutions to meet business needs creatively
- Comfort with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively
