A DevOps engineer is responsible for facilitating CI/CD practices & processes to automate the processes of development, build, testing, releasing & monitoring software, thus accelerating time to deploy & market. DevOps engineer should have an outright understanding of various automation tools used in build, test, release, deploy & monitoring phases. DevOps Engineer should be cross-functional and able to adapt to different set of tools used in CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishes practices & processes, to simplify Continuous Development, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Monitoring, across various stages of SDLC.
Deployment environments via configuration management tools - where we can create servers or applications for testing which are identical to production
Required Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Awareness of Business Domains
Splunk, App D, Grafana;
Understanding of Agile Sprint & Kanban methodologies ; Jenkins, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jfrog Artifactory, Nexus Artifactory, SonarQube, Fortify Scan, AWS, Azure, GCP, PCF, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Python, Remedy, Service Now, Jira.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
