The RELATIONSHIP MANAGER is responsible for building strategic client relationships and establishing client loyalty. The Client Relationship Manager constantly looks for ways to build additional value delivery to clients and enhances the overall client experience. Additionally, the Client Relationship Manager identifies ways of increasing revenue opportunities for the company while improving the client's profit levels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Drives sales for their portfolio. Key activities include channel development, pipeline management, sales qualifications, CRM utilization, dealer development, dealer contracting, dealer training, and front-line support.
  • Produce and deliver standard sales reports on a routine basis, including monthly sales and variance reports (by product, account, segment, territory, region, etc.)
  • Manage monthly reporting process (working with finance) including identifying key account drivers through coordination with field sales team. Includes specialty reporting requested by sales management team
  • Customer acquisition: identify limited or no order accounts and market directly for reorder and program upgrades
  • Monthly forecasting / KPI  lead for the sales organization
  • Drive Salesforce CRM compliance, accountability and manage CRM lead database and all CRM reporting
  • Identification and reporting of distribution gaps
  • Serves as the voice of the customer, encouraging all divisions to develop and deliver a dealer-centered experience.
  • Maintains close business relationships with decision makers; has exceptional communication, training and presentation skills.
  • Manages the trade budget and works with finance to understand rebates and trade incentives
  • Maintains business agreements and expiration terms for accounts and buying organizations.
  • Maintains pricing worksheets, order form maintenance and manages monthly price discrepancy meetings  
  • Buying group membership maintenance
  • Leads management: Buying Groups, In-bound, OSCR, GPS
  • Ownership of sales targets for all house (unassigned) accounts
  • Actively prospect and generate leads through research, cold outreach, existing client base, and referrals.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote and expand the Guardsman Brand
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers
