IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will have the opportunity to work remotely from within the United States.

We are excited to welcome a new IT Project Manager to the Cherry Bekaert Project Management Office (PMO) team! You will manage the delivery of projects focused on IT-centric projects.  You will be responsible for translating business needs into a project plan or roadmap of projects/agile sprints.  You will develop the project charter, plan, timeline & budget estimates, milestones, risk/issue/decision management, and manage stakeholder communication plan to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.

In addition to project management responsibilities, you may also be asked to perform some business analysis duties. This includes analyzing & documenting business processes, business impacts, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You may be asked to work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

As part of the PMO team, you will innovate and champion the introduction of new tools, technologies, and best practices for project management.  Success in this role requires strong communication, collaboration, and prioritization.  As our IT PM you can effectively build relationships and collaborate with Cherry Bekaert leadership and employees, peers, and external parties.  Success in this role requires strong facilitation skills, excellent communication, a collaborative approach, and the ability to effect change and inspire others.

As an IT Project Manager, you will:

• Develop project plans and budgets.
• Translate business needs into project plans.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage stakeholder communications.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and decisions.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
• Introduce new tools and best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication and facilitate meetings.
• Demonstrate firm competencies by embodying the attitudes and behaviors that align with our firm goals.

What you bring to the role: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing technology projects
• Bachelor’s degree
• PMP certification- preferred
• Experience with waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• IT operations knowledge

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. Pay Range:

$120,000 to $138,000
