Job description

Job Title: PaaS Systems Engineer 

Location: Virtual

We are seeking a highly skilled PaaS Systems Engineer to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a strong focus on system integration, Master Data Management (MDM), and data deduplication across enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Platform and Pega. This role plays a critical part in translating business needs into actionable requirements, supporting validation efforts, and aligning platform capabilities with strategic goals.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and adaptable, with experience coordinating with project and program leaders to analyze systems and architecture, resolve technical issues, and support high-visibility programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement systems that meet business requirements.
  •  Maintain and monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate new technologies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and architects to analyze system/product architecture, design, and performance.
  • Identify and assess strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and technical trade-offs.
  • Define and document data matching rules, validation workflows, and integration points across platforms.
  • Define and map end-to-end data flows across Salesforce, Pega, Microsoft, and other enterprise systems.
  • Translate matching logic into functional specs for reusable APIs and batch job configurations.
  • Support and contribute to the creation of test cases, as well as UAT and system validation efforts.
  • Track data quality and remediation progress and collaborate with stakeholders on reporting and dashboard insights.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with MDM solutions, data matching algorithms, or data deduplication logic.
  • Strong understanding of PaaS environments and data platform interoperability (Salesforce, Pega, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools such as JIRA.


Education & Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
