Job description

Job Title: Release Engineer

Location: Virtual

Other Consideration: U.S. Citizen (required)

We are seeking a skilled Release Engineer to lead the configuration, packaging, and deployment of Master Data Management (MDM) components, APIs, and integration workflows across multiple environments and enterprise platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting real-time and batch deduplication processes and ensuring seamless, stable releases across systems including Salesforce, Pega, and Microsoft platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in CI/CD, platform lifecycle management, and data integration, and thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and automate build, release, and deployment processes for MDM-related services (APIs, middleware, batch jobs).
  • Manage version control, release cycles, and deployment pipelines across dev, test, and production environments.
  • Oversee release coordination across multiple platforms including Salesforce, Pega, and Microsoft.
  • Ensure rollback strategies are in place and that environment configurations are consistent across deployments.
  • Support infrastructure and tooling related to batch job orchestration, monitoring, and logging.
  • Collaborate closely with QA and DevOps teams to validate release artifacts and execute smooth release cutovers.
  • Configure deduplication rules, validation logic, and automation workflows within the MDM framework.
  • Set up and manage middleware connections (e.g., MuleSoft) to integrate Salesforce and other external platforms.
  • Develop and deploy real-time and batch synchronization processes to prevent duplicate data creation.
  • Build reusable APIs to support duplicate checks and Golden Record assignment within the MDM system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of synchronous and CI/CD release cycles for large-scale, multi-platform ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms and concepts like deduplication, matching logic, and Golden Record creation.
  • Experience with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Talend).
  • Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate technical topics to diverse audiences.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in release engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
