Location: U.S.-based remote (see location requirements below)

Who you are:

As a Program Support Senior Manager, you will lead and support a team of Program Support Specialists as they Local Coordinators to achieve team sales goals, ensure the success of student placements, and support overall team performance. You will develop and implement strategies to drive growth, analyze data, and work cross-functionally to improve placement processes. The role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on process improvement, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Program Support Specialists to ensure and facilitate successful program operations once students arrive in-country.
  • Work with Program Support Specialists to advise Local Coordinators as they navigate cultural adjustments, interpersonal and intercultural relationships, de-escalation strategies, and problem resolution.
  • Analyze moves and compliance data to identify LC knowledge gaps and uncover opportunities for growth, working directly with Training Manager to create new LC trainings and regularly update LC content and communications.
  • Identify and implement improvements to placement/move processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance metrics, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for on-program support needs between Local Coordinators and other departments or external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the team adheres to DOS program regulations, CIEE best practices and company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding program support processes, procedures, and standards.


What you’ll bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
  • Management experience, preferably in engaging and motivating remote teams.
  • Experience managing volunteers or independent contractors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM databases (Salesforce experience preferred).

  • Ability to travel domestically AND internationally, several times per year.

The position is available to candidates in the Canada and United States, except for candidates residing in:
