The Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our finance team. The Payroll Manager will oversee global payroll of 6 entities and partner closely with the People team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while serving as the point of contact for all internal and external payroll inquiries.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include Manage the preparation, processing, and distribution of payroll for 600 employees in several US States and Czech Republic, India and the UK while ensuring accuracy and timeliness Ensure compliance with tax regulations, reporting requirements, and other statutory obligations globally (working with any third party vendors as necessary) Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations as well as international payroll laws and regulations Manage payroll processes with Workday (U.S. payroll software) and Deel (international location payroll software) to optimize system functionality and identify opportunities for process automation Administer and maintain Workday, ensuring proper set-up, configuration, and updates. Work with the HR Operations team as necessary to ensure proper flow of employee information and reporting Address and resolve time sensitive payroll-related inquiries and issues Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits, deductions, and contributions Communicate payroll-related information to employees, address inquiries and assist as needed Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance payroll operational efficiency, including payroll policies and procedure maintenance Coordinate standard and ad-hoc payroll requests as needed by various internal departments such as Finance, Accounting, Sales, People Manage the annual preparation and delivery of W-2s Our Vision Of You7+ years of direct payroll experience that includes a thorough understanding of system administration and addressing regulatory requirements of payroll processing Thorough knowledge of payroll-related Federal, State, and Local tax compliance requirements Multi-state US payroll experience with both exempt and non-exempt employees, global payroll experience with working through third party vendors is preferred Proficiency with Workday, ADP SmartCompliance, and MS Office applications Experience working with third-party administrators to process international payroll Experience in managing and working cross-functionally with high performing teams Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Self-starter, flexible, and deadline oriented Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and unwavering integrity BA/BS degree preferred CPP certification a strong plus The base salary range for this role is $85,500-$120,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
