Description:
This plays a key role in forecasting resource demand and supply, ensuring alignment with R&D portfolio priorities. This position partners with Finance and Functional Leads to drive data-informed decision-making, enhance workforce planning efficiency, and maintain resource allocation transparency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in resource planning, and a strategic mindset to optimize R&D operations.
Resource Forecasting & Portfolio Management
Manage functional resource forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Support functional leads in conducting resource demand vs. supply analysis to anticipate workforce needs.
Assist in scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of portfolio shifts on resource allocations.
Operational Efficiency & System Management
Oversee data accuracy within resource planning tools (e.g., Planisware or other relevant software).
Collaborate with Finance and Portfolio teams to ensure resource planning aligns with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards to provide real-time resource insights.
Top Skillsets:
Experience in R&D, portfolio planning, or clinical development.
Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to interpret complex data into business insights.
Ideal Candidate: 4-6 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1 year of workforce planning experience in the pharmaceutical industry. A successful candidate would have some experience in resource algorithm development and deployment.
