Photo Production Assistant, Visuals - Allrecipes
Allrecipes.com seeks a Photo Production Assistant with a passion for photography, an exceptional eye for detail, and a keen ability to work on fast turnaround requests. This role will offer vital support to Visuals Team by assisting with all stages of our photography process with a strong focus on our post-production efforts of managing, editing, and uploading recipe imagery from multiple sources. This position requires a blend of organizational skills, creative thinking, photo editing, and ultimately a passion for food visuals.The candidate will be required to embrace creative challenges, work in a fast-paced environment, and be as creative as they are operationally strong.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Image Upload & Management: Edit recipe to fit photos/Upload recipe images to the CMS, and organize finalized photos into our digital asset management system (DAM), ensuring proper tagging and metadata entry.
  • Photo Editing & Retouching: Edit and retouch photos as needed, using Adobe Photoshop, ensuring high-quality images that meet Allrecipes.com standards.
  • Production Support: Assist with all aspects of photo production as needed- from creative brief writing, to eventually photo set management and approvals.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, and follow established processes to ensure smooth delivery of visual assets. 
  • Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on current food photography trends and contribute to the development of new visual styles.
  • Uphold & Maintain Brand Standards: Adhere to photo style guidelines to maintain an elevated at home look
Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred OR minimum 1 year experience in online photo-editing/ digital media. 
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have the ability to work well and collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage your own workload.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet timely deadlines.
