As a Professional Development Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role by guiding our Engagement Center advisors to improve their skills and motivate them to deliver quality performance by creating individual as well as team training courses and educational materials.
In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team’s existing talents: For this Professional Development Coach role, we need someone with proven knowledge of contact center service-to-sales techniques, an understanding of Salesforce.com workflows, excellent communication skills, and a start-up mentality to help drive superior results.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key resource for assessing business results and advisor performance, developing targeted coaching plans to support business objectives and drive superior outcomes.
- Utilize performance metrics and advisor feedback to continuously refine training programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing overall advisor effectiveness.
- Develop educational programs, including presentations, eLearning content, advisor dialogue models and case studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by partnering with other departments (incl Quality Assurance) to ensure alignment in training programs and support for broader organizational goals
- Lead the development, facilitation and coordination of programs to help advisors incorporate the tools, resources and skills used to service clients.
- Set annual learning and development objectives for the advisor team
- Evaluate employees’ performance after each training
- Support other Engagement Center and L&D projects as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in financial services & contact center environment
- 3+ years experience developing and facilitating training programs, coaching advisors
- Prefer work experience as a Senior Learning professional, Sales Coach, or similar role
- Experience educating financial advisors on sophisticated financial planning principles, and articulating organizational value proposition relative to competition
- Experience with learning programs designed to support service to sales practices, including developing and leading onboarding programs.
- Familiarity in developing training content, including written materials, video tutorials, and/or interactive modules to enhance learning experiences
- Virtual and in-person facilitation experience
- Demonstrable experience driving change within an organization
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $82,000 - $109,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
