ServiceNow is one of the core systems and central to our strategy for accelerating delivery with modern technologies. As a Developer for ServiceNow, you will be part of our nimble and global agile cross-functional team working on one of the most complex ServiceNow implementations across various modules and business lines which include:
• IT Service Management - Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Virtual Agent, PA
• IT Operations Management – Discovery, Service Mapping
• IT Asset Management - APM, HAM, CMDB, Discovery
• DevOps
• Security Operations – Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance
• Governance, Risk & Compliance
• HR Service Delivery – Employee Service Center
What You'll do
• Work as a ServiceNow Developer in a global scrum/agile environment; interacting directly with Product Owners and team members on a daily basis.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and flows on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks.
• Work on Client scripts, Business rules, ACL's, UI Policies, UI Actions, Notifications, SLA's, Metrices, Scheduled jobs, Workflows, And Reports.
• Work with ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, CMDB, & Asset Management.
• Perform bug fixes and assist with resolving issues.
• Create Technical design documents and provide knowledge transfers as required.
• Be aware of the best practices of the platform for the current version. Experience with upgrading from old version to new version is a plus.
• Experience with Vulnerability Module is a plus.
• REST And SOAP type integration knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, (or equal years of experience)
• 3+ years' experience with the ServiceNow Platform
• 3+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Developer in an enterprise application environment
• 2+ years recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a ServiceNow Developer (i.e., Scrum, etc.)
• Experience with implementation of multiple modules in ServiceNow
• Ability to clearly present ServiceNow knowledge and best practices to key stakeholders
Key Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with willingness to learn new ServiceNow applications and functionality
• An understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including recent successful and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is expected
• Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project at hand
• Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by effectively responding to inquiries
• Ability to work well under dynamic deadlines and priorities
