Senior Engineer - Back End Developer (Mulesoft)

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Senior Engineer - Back End Developer (Mulesoft) for an 8 month project for a client in Minnetonka, MN. 100% Remote
 
Summary:
The Member Portal/API Development team is focused on building solutions to support client's business domains around our Member, Provider, and Broker portal solutions. As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions to advance these business domains utilizing mobile, web, cloud, and API technologies. You will leverage your development knowledge and experience to guide internal and external developers to solve complex business problems. The Sr. Engineer may work independently or with a group of developers and with other subject matter experts to help design and build solutions for web and portal application.
 
Responsibilities:

• Define, analyze, and review business, system requirements, technical requirements and prioritize tasks. Performs more advanced responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Write clean, testable code using Java or Mulesoft to build API's (required)
• Write clean, testable code using Java, Kafka, Databricks, Qlik Replicate, and Azure Event Hubs to stream data (preferred)
• Deploy code to multiple test environments using tools such as Azure Dev Ops or GitHub.
• Document development and operational procedures including implementing monitoring solutions
• Leverage industry standards and best practices for software development, including automated integration, test driven development, reusable code, object-oriented design, software configuration management
• Facilitate code reviews, unit testing, peer reviews and partner with QA to document test criteria

• Advanced working knowledge and skill of professional field with ability to function as a subject matter expert for other staff across multiple technologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree.
• Five years work experience as a Java developer
• API development experience using Mulesoft and/or Java
• Experience in building highly performant API's
• Familiarity with agile environments
• Troubleshooting abilities and good communication skills

• Experience in one of the Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with end to end application building
• In-depth knowledge writing complex SQL queries for Oracle or SQL Server
• Work experience on open source technologies like Angular, React, NodeJS
• Proficiency in building back end solutions to support web-based and/or mobile applications

 
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate: 65/hr-75/hr W2
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
