Today, we serve over 2 million customers and partner with more than 20,000 merchants, making Addi Colombia’s fastest-growing marketplace.

With a state-of-the-art, technology-first approach, we provide banking solutions (deposits, payments, unsecured credit) and commerce services (e-commerce, marketing), bridging the financial gap for millions and redefining how people experience financial freedom. As the country’s leading Buy Now, Pay Later provider, we have secured regulatory approval to operate as a bank, unlocking even greater opportunities for our customers. In the past year, we have also achieved profitability, reinforcing the strength of our business model and our ability to scale sustainably.

Our mission has earned the trust of world-class investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Architect Capital, GIC, Goldman Sachs, Greycroft, Monashees, Notable Capital, Quona Capital, Union Square Ventures, Victory Park Capital, and more, who back our vision for the future. With their support, we are not just growing—we are transforming Latin America’s financial ecosystem and shaping the next generation to shop, pay, and bank in Colombia.

But what truly sets us apart is how we build. We are a conscious company, driven by deep experience in scaling technology, services and products, and we live by our values every day.

About the Role

This is where you come in. Below, you’ll find what this role is all about—the impact you’ll drive, the challenges you’ll tackle, and what it takes to thrive at Addi. If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading.

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Transform raw data into reliable, accessible, and actionable insights that empower business teams to make better decisions. This person will act as a bridge between data and the business, building and maintaining scalable analytics workflows while pushing forward strategic data initiatives and promoting data stewardship across the organization.

What you will do
  • Gain full understanding of Addi’s data ecosystem within the first 90 days, including event structures, transactional systems, and data from third-party tools. Participate in code reviews (PRs) and contribute to decisions about data quality, consistency, and business impact.

  • Deliver high-quality dashboards and reports to business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with decision-making needs. Ensure usage and data freshness for key reports across at least 2 business units within the first 6 months.

  • Handle ad-hoc business requests and operational support, resolving issues through alerts, runbooks, and support channels. Participate in on-call rotations and document solutions to common data problems.

  • Lead at least one cross-functional data initiative during the first six months that improves business visibility, operational efficiency, or data governance, demonstrating ownership and ability to push forward opportunities for improvement.

What we’re looking for

    • Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating large datasets.

    • Proficiency with basic Python, especially for scripting or automating data workflows.

    • Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

  • Technical Proficiency

    • Experience designing and implementing data models (datamarts, etc.).

    • Understanding of ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks such as DBT, Airflow, Talend or others.

    • Experience with data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, GCP).

    • Experience working with unstructured data.

    • Proficiency with at least one data visualization tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Preset.

  • Business Acumen & Communication

    • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

    • English is a must

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Skilled at communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting decision-making with data insights.

  • Data Stewardship & Ownership

    • Commitment to data quality, consistency, and documentation.

    • Experience following and promoting best practices in testing, validation, and monitoring of data products.

    • Ability to take ownership of initiatives, push for improvements, and work independently when needed.

  • Nice-to-Haves

    • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

    • Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

    • Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark.

    • Basic understanding of statistics or ML.

  • Step 3: Technical Assesment (60 min)

You’ll work through a practical challenge during the interview. This is a chance to show your technical skills by solving a real-world problem, while also sharing your process and approach.
