About the Field Marketing Specialist:

As a Field Marketing Specialist on the Chrome Technology Partnerships Team, your role will be to help shape the future of how technology is used in the workplace and be part of an entrepreneurial team in a fast-growing business. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and executing marketing events, from top of the funnel demand generation through more intimate gatherings further in the sales process. You will be able to work closely with our Business Development team to understand business needs, help develop and execute marketing programs and report on metrics. What will you do?

  • Plan events (Google-led, third-party industry events, partner events) from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives to generate brand awareness and sales leads

  • Execute programmatic (repeatable and scalable) events such as prospect roundtables to help the BD and sales teams form new connections

  • Develop event strategy and vision while ensuring creative event experience.

  • Create event schedules and agenda with key stakeholders to ensure it aligns with the product roadmaps, event messaging pillars, business priorities and executive vision.

  • Work closely with cross-functional working groups to ensure content and messaging is consistent and on-brand for all events.

  • Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.

  • Produce weekly and quarterly reports to executive stakeholders on performance and results to ensure events are contributing to pipeline and unit goals.

  • Collect and analyze event data to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future event planning. Prepare post-event reports summarizing key metrics and insights.

  • Design, build, and improve processes and systems for events that support operational excellence for Chrome Enterprise Recommended solution partners.       

  • Travel as necessary to manage events.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience in event planning and execution, with a focus on large-scale events.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight

  • deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in event management software and other relevant technologies.

  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiation.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Passion for creating engaging and memorable event experiences.

  • Experience with virtual and hybrid event formats is a plus.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

  • Familiarity with Google products and services.

  • Certification in event management (e.g., CMP).

The salary for this position is $160,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
