Job description

Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Sr. Analyst, Business Operations to help streamline, scale, and optimize core operational processes across our fast-growing business.

Natera is revolutionizing how patients are monitored, managed, and treated. This role offers the opportunity to build foundational business processes, support strategic initiatives, and contribute directly to our mission of improving patients’ lives through cutting-edge diagnostics and precision medicine. 

This role will sit on a data-driven Business Operations team, responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling operational processes and tools across functions. Equal parts builder and implementer, this person will serve as a critical connector between business stakeholders (e.g., medical, clinical operations, sales, marketing) and technical teams (e.g., Salesforce, Analytics, Product), translating business needs into sustainable solutions that drive efficiency, clarity, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Process Design & Execution: Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current workflows and design scalable, cross-functional solutions. Streamline best practices across functions. Support or lead implementation and change management efforts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate initiatives with stakeholders across functions to align on business needs and streamline execution. Lead or support working groups with Director- and VP-level stakeholders.

  • Strategic Business Enablement: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Medical teams to develop processes and tools that enable efficiency and growth.

  • Data-Informed Operations: Use data to diagnose problems, prioritize opportunities, and measure the impact of process changes.

  • Tool Development & Automation: Scope and co-develop self-service tools, dashboards, and trackers. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements.

  • Training & Rollout: Support business teams with the tools, training, and documentation needed to ensure successful adoption and long-term usability of new processes or tools.

  • Operational Backbone Support: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of core business operations and tools, helping teams stay aligned to evolving priorities and goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Operations, or a related field

  • Experience in business operations, process improvement, or analytical roles in high-growth or complex environments

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and seniority levels

  • Self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to drive work independently

  • High integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a team-first mindset; comfortable shifting between strategic and tactical tasks

  • Proven ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams. Talent for guiding diverse stakeholders toward shared goals

  • Strong track record of supporting or leading business process improvements that enhanced efficiency, clarity, or impact

  • Analytical fluency: Comfortable with spreadsheets, dashboards, and performance metrics; experience working with structured and unstructured data

  • Proficiency with business systems like Salesforce, Smartsheet, Power BI (or similar reporting tools)

  • Familiarity with uses of AI; e.g. prompt engineering, how to use agents

  • SQL a requirement

  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, or a related field is preferred

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
