Virtual Medical Assistant- Spanish Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a Virtual Medical Front Desk Specialist with proficiency in Spanish to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical front desk duties within the US healthcare system, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle front desk tasks such as greeting patients, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
  • Update patient information accurately and efficiently in multiple Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues in Spanish.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns courteously and promptly, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Maintain fluency in the Spanish language to ensure clear and effective communication with patients and staff.
  • Monitor and respond to patient emails, providing information, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries as necessary.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating and using multiple EMR and EHR systems to access and update patient records.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments to optimize clinic scheduling and patient flow.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in medical front desk duties within the US healthcare system.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in Spanish.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Experience in verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Proficiency in updating patient information in multiple EMR and EHR systems.
