Job description

The Localisation Intern will play a key role in supporting our localization efforts by reviewing and auditing Korean content to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to quality standards. Their duties will include checking translations for errors, aligning content with project guidelines, and providing feedback to improve overall quality.- Review and audit Korean translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to project guidelines

  • Identify and correct any translation errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues in the content.
  • Provide detailed feedback to improve the quality of future projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to align on project requirements and priorities.
  • Perform terminology checks to ensure glossary compliance and consistency across all Korean content.
  • Support in maintaining and updating Korean translation assets, such as glossaries and style guides.
  • Conduct research on Korean linguistic trends to ensure up-to-date and culturally appropriate translations.

Requirements

  • Native Korean speaker with deep knowledge of the Korean language and culture
  • A bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Korean Language, or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Korean.
  • Familiarity with QA trackers, terminology management, and style guide application.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify linguistic errors and inconsistencies.
