Job description

At Serve Robotics, we’re reimagining how things move in cities. Our personable sidewalk robot is our vision for the future. It’s designed to take deliveries away from congested streets, make deliveries available to more people, and benefit local businesses.

The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries. We’re looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity.

As a partnership manager, you’ll be responsible for introducing and onboarding new merchants in the new areas that Serve expands to. You will also own Serve’s relationship with its top merchants and keep close contact with them pre and post-launch. You will work closely with our BD, Operations, and product teams to ensure the success of our customers. You must be available to travel 25% of the time for this role.

Responsibilities

Merchant Onboarding and Implementation

  • Develop and execute a streamlined onboarding process for new merchants.

  • Guide merchants through the setup process, ensuring smooth integration with our robotic delivery system.

  • Provide training and support to help merchants effectively utilize our platform.

  • Be ready to wear many hats to build our business and jump in to help when the need arises. 

Account Management

  • Manage relationships with existing merchants as their primary point of contact.

  • Monitor merchant satisfaction and engagement, addressing issues promptly.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services with current merchants.

  • Manage reporting to our top merchants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles, preferably in the tech or food service industry.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and work with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and basic data analysis tools.
