BTP Tester

Job Title: Senior BTP Tester

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester to support the implementation of SAP BTP projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, documenting and managing defects, and ensuring the reliability and performance of SAP BTP integrations—particularly in transitions from PI/PO to Integration Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop test strategies and plans for SAP BTP functionality including Integration Suite, Enablement, Security, and Access.

• Review functional/technical specs and translate them into business test requirements.

• Create test scenarios, scripts, and manage execution based on project scope.

• Support test automation by developing scripts or enabling testing tools.

• Validate data consistency and accuracy across source and target systems during testing.

• Conduct regression testing to ensure stability of system updates.

• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects and enhance performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Align testing efforts with business objectives by working closely with project managers, BAs, and architects.

• Share test progress, results, and defect reports regularly.

• Drive continuous improvement in testing tools and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in SAP BTP projects.

• Strong understanding of SAP BTP and the Integration Suite.

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools.

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, ALM, SAP CALM, Mercury Testing, Tricentis.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BTP and SAP Activate certifications.

• Experience with Agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence).

• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD in testing workflows.
