The Opportunity:
The Penetration Testing Service plays a critical role in ensuring the security and resilience of Hitachi Energy’s digital infrastructure. By proactively identifying security weaknesses and simulating real-world attack scenarios, the service helps protect the organization from cyber threats. Through structured testing methodologies, industry best practices, and collaboration with internal security teams, the Penetration Testing Service provides valuable insights that strengthen the organization’s security posture.
The Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day execution of penetration testing and security service projects. This includes managing scheduling, tracking project progress, and maintaining communication with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders. The coordinator will leverage CMDB, issue tracking, and project management tools to maintain project organization, monitor issue resolution, and optimize service execution.
Beyond communication, the Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing the scheduling of all penetration testing activities. This includes ensuring that periodic testing is scheduled in advance according to requirements and that ad-hoc testing requests are scheduled in a timely manner. This role also ensures the proper organization of deliverables in the service archive and facilitates the timely delivery of reports and findings to stakeholders.
A key part of this role is facilitating clear communication between the Cyber Defense Centre (CDC) and the Penetration Testing Service to ensure alignment on test scopes and timelines. Additionally, the Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for supporting communication between other Cybersecurity Operations & IT teams where applicable, ensuring testing activities are well-integrated with broader Cybersecurity operations.
How you'll make an impact
Organize, schedule, and track penetration testing engagements to ensure timely execution.
Manage communication between the Cyber Defense Centre (CDC) and Penetration Testing Service regarding test scopes and timelines.
Facilitate communication between Penetration Testing Service and Stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation of penetration testing engagements using ServiceNow IRM and Azure DevOps.
Ensure proper organization and archiving of deliverables in the service archive.
Oversee the timely delivery of reports and findings to stakeholders.
Manage day-to-day communication with vendors, ensuring timely service delivery.
Identify and implement improvements to optimize service execution and operational efficiency.
Document and update evolving processes and procedures for the role.
Your Background
1-3 years of experience in service coordination, project management, Cybersecurity, or IT services.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management) and Azure DevOps are a plus.
Experience managing vendor relationships within an ongoing project and ensuring timely project delivery.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to document, refine, and improve service delivery processes.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an enterprise environment.
Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) are a plus.
