Job Summary

The Associate Manager, Product Marketing, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Interventions (TMTI) owns the MitraClip and emerging TriClip portfolio in Asia Pacific. Together with the Regional Marketing Manager TMTI (supervisory line), she/he is responsible for setting strategic direction in Asia Pacific for the TMTI portfolio and for tactical implementation of activities aligned to a patient-centric, customer-centric and goal-achieving culture, leading to optimal clinical adoption, outcomes, and customer satisfaction within the space.

The Associate Manager, Product Marketing, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Interventions (TMTI) is “product and portfolio champion” - the focal point for all markets in Asia Pacific on all matters related to technology and market, planning and execution, and achievement of business objectives for the portfolio. The Associate Manager, Product Marketing, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Interventions (TMTI) is responsible for TMTI products throughout their lifecycles.

In addition, the job holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of Power BI reporting and analytical models. The job holder will play a critical role in assisting in the ongoing transition from legacy reporting tools to Power BI and the programming of new data collection, analysis and reporting platforms. 

The Associate Manager, Product Marketing, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Interventions (TMTI) will report directly to the Regional Marketing Manager of the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Interventions (TMTI) franchise, Structural Heart Division, Asia Pacific.

Job Duties

  • Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Statistical Modelling and Power BI desktop

  • Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence

  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentation

  • Automation of market models and budget templates (including calculations, sanity checks…)

  • Contribute to the establishment and achievement of objectives via development and close execution of annual marketing plans.

  • Drive cross-functional teams to develop Asia Pacific-specific strategies and plans for new product launches including market analysis, clinical strategy, reimbursement strategy, education and training, product positioning and messaging.

  • Develop and oversee execution of the marketing plan. This includes defining and segmenting markets; targeting and positioning; and all aspects of the marketing mix (product; supply chain/distribution; price; and integrated marketing/promotion).

  • Develop promotional tools and optimize others provided by Global Marketing; launch with appropriate localization, training, and tracking.

  • Create open, productive lines of communication between the sales and clinical team and all other areas that affect the product: Regional Management and Global Marketing; RA; QA; etc.

  • Stay up to date on key publications, trials, indications, society guidelines, and market dynamics and reflect to the communication / marketing strategy.

  • Ensure that sales, clinical, training, and other functions are kept informed of any technical, market or strategic issues that may affect plans and execution.

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key customer accounts as well as market influencers.

  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Works with standard office equipment such as telephone, cellular phone, fax/copier, and a personal computer with standard office software. 

            

Working Conditions

Work environment varies from well lighted office/cubicle, low to moderate noise level, to a variety of conditions caused by travel requirements such as customer offices, research labs, hospitals, hotels, use of automobiles, commercial travel, weather, etc.

Physical Demands

Activities require a significant amount of sitting in front of a computer monitor, some standing and walking.  Significant use of hands and arms, plus finger dexterity to reach, point, write, type, operate a computer and other office equipment.  Performs tasks that regularly require good correctable vision and hand/eye coordination. Activities also require significant use of voice and hearing for discussions with other employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Data Analytics/Computer Science

  • Comfortable working in newly forming, ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills

  • Strong device business acumen, strategic thinking, commercial focus and customer skills.

  • Exceptional project management skills.  Must be adept at handling multiple assignments and accomplish these projects within budgetary guidelines and within agreed upon timelines.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; the ability to lead a cross-functional team and ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization

  • Experience in Software and web development through R, Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries)

  • Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS

  • Quickly demonstrate understanding of business use cases and implications of various data structures and visualization options connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence

  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentation

  • Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards

  • Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
