Description

CapsLock develops long-term, performance-driven marketing solutions for leading partners in the home improvement industry. We’re currently seeking a Video Editor / Film Maker to join our CRO team and bring digital ad content to life across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Concept Development and Pre-Production

• Develop creative video ads from concept to final delivery, including formats for funnels, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.

• Craft clear storylines and narrative structures tailored to platform and audience.

• Collaborate with videographers: prepare shoot guides and gather reference materials.

2. Video Production and Editing

• Edit and enhance videos using dialogs, graphics, music, sound design, and visual effects.

• Ensure logical sequencing and strong storytelling throughout each video.

• Deliver polished final cuts optimized for performance and advertising goals.

• Experiment with editing techniques and tools to continuously improve output quality.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the product and analyze performance through A/B testing and page metrics.

3. Collaboration and Trend Integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure creative alignment.

• Track and apply video trends, formats, and viral content features in your work.

• Support additional creative or operational tasks as assigned by your manager.



Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise.

• 1+ year of experience in video editing or post-production.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other desktop-based editing tools (mobile-only editing not accepted).

• Skilled in working with video rhythm, sound, transitions, color correction, typography, and effects to maximize viewer engagement.

• Upper-intermediate English (B2) or higher.

• Hands-on experience with video formats tailored for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

• Solid understanding of viral video trends, formats, and platform-specific features — and ability to implement them effectively.

• Comfortable testing different creative approaches, reviewing performance analytics, and iterating based on results.

• Experience using AI tools in the video production workflow.
