Job description

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Data Processing Specialist to support our growing Central team. The position is remote within our company footprint.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Responsible for new items and new vendor creation in ERP’s. 
  • Updating vendor catalogs
  • Supporting data from acquisition  
  • Data collection, validation, cleaning, and transformation.
  • Reporting and analysis support
  • Examining data reports to locate and resolve mistakes. 
  • Analyzing and collecting data for various types of business reports. 
  • Regularly update and maintain databases to reflect changes in the data source. 
  • Continuous improvement with data processing technologies and best practices.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analysis, or a related field
  • Trainable in 2 ERPs and ERP Support/Case system
  • Proficient use of various software, and advanced use of Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Cross-functionalization skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
