Currently, we are seeking a Senior SRE Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Senior SRE Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote (LATAM)
What you will be doing:
Design, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, with a focus on reliability and scalability
Set up and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including virtual machines, networking, imaging, and automation
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, enabling efficient, secure, and consistent deployments
Monitor infrastructure performance and respond to incidents, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
Work collaboratively with development, QA, and product teams to ensure infrastructure supports evolving feature requirements
Maintain and improve system observability and alerting mechanisms, including logging, metrics, and tracing
Lead infrastructure documentation efforts, ensuring runbooks and system configurations are up to date and accessible
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform (nice to have)
Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming, supporting the team’s agile cadence
Partner with the Technical Project Manager to provide infrastructure visibility, capacity forecasts, and timeline estimates
Contribute to security best practices, role-based access controls, and compliance checks within Azure
Support high availability systems and implement fault-tolerant solutions
Drive infrastructure-as-code (IaC) culture and DevOps maturity across the engineering organization
Requirements & Qualifications

Proven expertise in Azure DevOps, including build/release pipelines, environment configuration, and deployment automation
Proficient in scripting and automation, preferably with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
In-depth understanding of CI/CD principles, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps practices
Comfortable setting up and supporting environments for production, staging, and testing
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently
Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms and performance-sensitive systems
Solid grasp of monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus)
Effective communicator with solid English proficiency (B2+ or higher), capable of working across distributed teams
Secondary Skills:

Experience with Kubernetes is a plus, though not required
Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or ARM/Bicep templates
Prior exposure to image management tools, automation around imaging, or configuration at scale

Understanding of Agile practices and experience working in sprint-based development environments
Experience working in a startup or fast-scaling product environment
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus, but deep experience can substitute
