Senior Product Manager/Product Manager, Telematics and Connected Vehicle Platform

We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our Connected Vehicle Platform and Telematics products. In this role, you'll own the product strategy for vehicle telematics systems, data insights, and integration with third-party data sources to drive value for our fleet customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new use cases, from ideation through to launch, incorporating multiple telematics data sources across multiple platforms
  • Lead product development for telematics features, including OBD-II connectivity, CAN bus data collection, and PID parameter processing
  • Define the roadmap for transforming raw vehicle data into actionable business intelligence across fuel efficiency, preventative maintenance, fleet utilization, and driver behavior
  • Manage integration with third-party telematics sources, including OEM embedded systems and Tier 1 supplier solutions
  • Drive high-complexity cross-functional projects spanning sustainability, safety, security, and fleet efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field such as: Advanced Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Economics, or relevant field required

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience with expertise in launching products from concept to launch
  • Strong technical understanding of automotive protocols like CAN, OBD-2, J-1939, and RP1226
  • Familiarity with vehicle and equipment telematics in general
  • Strong passion for data and AI with SQL skills to quickly analyze data and drive insights
  • Willing to get hands dirty and dig deeper into customer problems with speed and rigor
  • A talent for translating complex concepts into clear, actionable product strategies.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at influencing and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills to communicate effectively both with customers and cross-functionally within the organization.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience in automotive, IoT, or fleet management technology
  • Understanding of ML/AI applications in predictive analytics for vehicle maintenance
  • Experience with IoT device management and firmware update processes
  • Passion for sustainability and electrification initiatives in fleet management
  • Knowledge of fleet management regulations and compliance requirements
  • Startup experience, ideally earlier stage companies

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $215,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US, remote locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
