Position Responsibilities:
Compiling and analyzing historical financial data/financial statements provided by sellers
Processing monthly trial balances and general ledger data to ensure sellers’ detail data reconciles to financial statements
Building Excel databooks and core schedules to analyze quality of earnings and net working capital trends and assist with valuation of target firms
Assisting with ad hoc financial due diligence analyses (e.g. client retention and profitability trends, cash proof of revenue, proof of payroll, etc.)
Assisting Corporate Development team with other ad hoc responsibilities (e.g. initial model setup, request list tracking, etc.)
Performing final quality control checks on Excel databooks to ensure clerical accuracy with a fine attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain quality under tight timelines
Qualifications:
Active CPA license or equivalent (or in process of obtaining) preferred
Prior experience in Transaction Advisory or comparable accounting role preferred
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal and technical accounting skills
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Displaying adequate knowledge of US GAAP
Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to manage deadlines and work on multiple assignments at once
