Senior Backend Developer (node.js)

We’re currently seeking a passionate freelance Senior Backend Developer to join our projects ASAP. As a freelancer cooperating with intent, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse IoT projects, leveraging your expertise in backend and cloud technologies.

About intent

intent has over 10+ years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building apps for IoT and connected devices. We act as a specialized think partner for products at the intersection of physical and digital (such as wearables and IoT), working with companies like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh audio systems.

Projects: smart bracelet, smart glucometer, automotive project for electric vehicles.

💎 Requirements:

• Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Timestream, EMR).

• Expierience with node.js/next.js.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure management.

• Experience with MQTT for messaging protocols.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.

• Advanced knowledge of backend development, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.

• English proficiency (min. B2).

💰 Salary:

• 15-25K PLN net on a B2B contract (depending on experience).

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable backend and cloud solutions for IoT projects.

• Optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud deployments.

• Develop high-performance and secure backend services.

• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

• Improve system reliability by fixing issues reported by the QA team.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
