Sales Operations Specialist - Marine Industry

Dockmaster Software is currently looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join our team in North America – (EDT time zone preferred)!

DockMaster is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is instrumental in streamlining Salesforce operations, supporting billing and customer administration, and optimizing onboarding and support workflows. Additionally, this role will partner with marketing on tradeshows, lead generation, and nurturing campaigns to ensure a seamless sales process from initial contact to customer success.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere on the East Coast of the US, working in a remote work model!

What your day will look like:

Salesforce Administration and Process Optimization

  • Manage and optimize Salesforce to improve sales efficiency and pipeline visibility
  • Maintain data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate reporting within Salesforce
  • Develop and implement workflows, automation, and dashboards to enhance sales productivity
  • Train sales teams on Salesforce best practices and usage

Billing, Onboarding and Customer Support Workflows

  • Work closely with billing and finance teams to ensure a seamless sales-to-invoice process
  • Assist in contract management, customer onboarding, and renewals to ensure a smooth transition for new customers
  • Design and optimize support workflows to enhance customer experience and ensure alignment between sales and support teams
  • Act as a liaison between sales, billing, and customer support to resolve operational roadblocks efficiently

Marketing and Lead Generation Support

  • Partner with marketing to execute tradeshows, conferences, and industry events, ensuring smooth logistical coordination
  • Support lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns by tracking performance and optimizing conversion rates
  • Maintain and enhance the lead scoring process to ensure the sales team focuses on high-quality opportunities

Sales Enablement and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain sales performance reports, forecasts, and KPIs to support decision-making
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales efficiency and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between strategy and execution

About You:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related role within a SaaS or software company
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce administration and optimization
  • Experience working with billing and finance teams in sales-related processes
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools for lead nurturing and campaign tracking
  • Experience with onboarding and customer support workflows to improve customer experience
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • A team player who takes initiative and can work both independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with sales, finance, and marketing teams
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
