Job description

Michael Page are currently partnering with a global player in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry to recruit a permanent and experienced Regional Business Process Owner to own the Accounting function of their Shared Services Centre, based in Johor Bahru.

Description

Your main job duties will include;

Facilitate feedback sessions with accountants to improve system use, identify issues, and enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Ensure continuous improvement of Finance RTR processes in line with organisational strategy and technology updates.

Provide comprehensive user support during month-end closings, manage master data, and oversee the closing cockpit.

Promote and implement the Finance Organisational Core Model (FTOM) to define clear roles and responsibilities.

Lead SAP project activities such as gap analysis, data collection, and risk mitigation plans, while defining business roles and organisational impacts.

Manage testing processes, create training plans, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and training for key users.

Support data conversion and provide extra assistance during the quarterly closing.

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 5 years of finance/accounting experience ideally in industrial or manufacturing company. Ideally they will have a strong interest in IT systems, and project experience, and they must have experience with SAP system.
