InterVision Company is seeking a
Sales & Operations Specialist to facilitate and coordinate the completion of the sales cycle from Deal Origination to Order Booking. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between all organizations involved in the agreement process (finance, legal, engineering, project management and sales operations) on behalf of the sales team. You will create agreements/quotes for Resale of Technology, Managed Services, and Professional Services opportunities. In addition, you will track, review and create legal documents to support these contracts.

- 1-3 years successful sales experience in an Inside, Outside or Sales Support position; demonstrated knowledge of sales processes and procedures
- Self-motivated & passionate with an ability to work effectively in a growing & collaborative environment
- Ability and willingness to adapt to new process and procedures
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to explain complex sales operation concepts
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Aptitude for working with numbers, quotes, and pricing data
- Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must have a logical business acumen to effectively support multiple accounts and retain client business
- Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (MS Office, CRM Applications, Slack)
- Experience and aptitude in Excel and Salesforce
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a commitment to excellence
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, manage priorities and workflow
- Experience in a high-tech company in a sales support/customer service capacity is desired
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule to meet business needs (RFX Response, End of Month/Quarter/Year)
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to grow and build relationships.
- Experience with enterprise technology channel partnership a plus
Some Of The Exciting Work You Will Encounter
- Maintain an understanding of InterVision's product and services portfolio.
- Conduct historical price research to ensure competitive quoting strategies.
- Create quotes using InterVision’s quoting system and deliver them to customers upon request.
- Track and monitor the approval status of InterVision quotes.
- Participate in recurring customer account strategy meetings with Account Manager(s) to determine account logistics and identify sales opportunities
- Validate order documents (e.g., client purchase orders or signed quotes) against InterVision and distributor quotes, update opportunities and quotes in CRM and ordering tools, and submit formal orders for booking and procurement through the purchasing team.
- Ensure that Salesforce booking values and policies are adhered to.
- Update Salesforce records, including account, contact, opportunity, quote, and order entries.
- Advocate on behalf of the customer internally, balancing customer requirements with InterVision’s business objectives.
- Leverage available resources efficiently to resolve issues quickly.
- Utilize company tools and methodologies to manage accounts and related tasks effectively.
- Provide feedback and recommend optimal pre-sale strategies to field sales teams.
- Document and update internal systems, databases, and processes to reflect the latest customer information accurately.
- Develop and implement sales operating procedures within the role to improve efficiency.
- Assist in training new Account Managers and Sales and Operations Specialists.
- Contribute to the completion of Sales Operations department projects.
- Handle all nuanced tasks required to finalize opportunities, deals, or requests ("manage to close").
- Create Salesforce opportunities upon request to ensure accurate pipeline management and reporting.
Resale-Related Support
- Submit, manage, and track manufacturer deal registrations.
- Communicate with distributors regarding stock, inventory positions, shipping lead times, and costs.
- Evaluate and identify optimal strategies to secure the highest vendor discounts and financial benefits for InterVision.
- Partner with vendors as an additional account resource when needed.
- Investigate and resolve quote or operational issues within an opportunity, proposing mutually beneficial solutions for the client and InterVision.
- Ensure timely processing of requests and inquiries with distributors to support internal requirements.
- Process orders and RMA/change orders, including all necessary purchase details and documentation.
Services-Related Support
- Prepare documentation for services opportunities, including statements of work, hourly agreements, master agreements, and mutual non-disclosure agreements.
- Participate in creating new and renewing customer agreements at the appropriate time in the customer lifecycle. Ensure products and services provided to customers meet or exceed the required InterVision profitability metrics.
- Create internal service quotes within Salesforce opportunities to maintain accurate forecasting.
- Manage the internal stages of service opportunities using ServiceNow.
- Process service orders in Salesforce and ServiceNow, ensuring all required legal documentation is included.
