JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant
REPORTS TO: Assistant Manager, Audit & Financial Reporting
Job Summary / Purpose:
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in financial reporting, external audits, and intercompany accounting. This position is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing flux analysis, supporting month-end close, and preparing financial statements. The Senior Accountant will also manage intercompany transactions, including cross-border activities, and contribute to ad hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support financial audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP and strong internal controls.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Perform flux analysis to identify key financial variances.
Manage intercompany transactions, including cross-border reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Work closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
Support financial reporting functions and ad hoc projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience with major accounting software, preferably with NetSuite.
Strong understanding of US accounting guidance, and SOX-compliant internal controls.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strict deadlines.
Strong knowledge of intercompany transactions, including cross-border accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA, Big 4, or public company experience preferred
Prior healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
Familiarity with Planful or similar financial planning software.
