At Dogs Inc, powerful stories unfold every day—stories of transformation, hope, and purpose.

From wagging tails to life-changing partnerships, our mission captures hearts. And we’re looking for a creative, proactive Media Relations Manager with the drive and initiative to bring those stories to the national stage.

This is your chance to join our media relations team to focus on national and key regional markets—complementing our local efforts and taking earned media to new heights.

If you see headlines before they’re written and know how to make editors care, we want to hear from you. Please send your resume, cover letter, and at least three of your national media coverage samples (or a portfolio link). We can’t wait to see how you’ll help Dogs Inc’s mission break through the noise—and into hearts across the country.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to our Director of Communications, the Media Relations Manager will:

  • Develop a media relations strategy with targeted outreach to national and key regional markets.
  • Research story angles, conduct interviews, write compelling news releases, and build relationships with journalists, media outlets, and social media influencers.
  • Prepare and coach Dogs Inc spokespeople for national and market-specific media opportunities.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Background working for an organization or agency with national media campaigns
  • Proven success securing national media placements (please include recent examples and standout writing samples)
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and creative storytelling abilities
  • Proficiency with PR software
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

This is a remote position with the option to work from our beautiful 66-acre Palmetto, Florida campus if local.
