JOB DUTIES: Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and lead where applicable – PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Defect Review, Sprint Demo, Retrospectives etc. Participate in story grooming, analyze and understand user story acceptance criteria. Develop and execute -test plan, test cases based on the user stories and ensure proper test coverage. Perform in sprint testing, service/API testing, Integration / E2E testing, regression final build certification and release day testing. Automate tests using internal and open-source tools & infrastructure. Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality. Work with software engineers to understand product architecture, integrations and features. Create and maintain data scenarios to support test plans and test cases. Analyze test results, being a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process. Document, track bugs to closure and report on project status to stake holders. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software. Write complex queries to perform data validation. Serve as SME for one or more functional areas, act as technology ambassador for automation and build efficient solutions. Lead process, technology improvement efforts, KPIs/OKRs with in quality engineering team and larger part of organization to improve engineer productivity, speed, and quality.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Alternatively, Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience in each of the following:
Understanding of CI/CD and how QA/automation process fits into the model;
Knowledge of automation tools (Appium, Selenium, BDD and Cucumber);
API and UI testing and creating automation test suits; and
Financial Industry experience.
